We are a family owned business whose goal is to provide family ambience and serve every request. We provide a variety of the fine Italian Cuisine, as well specialties from Bosnia, Germany and other Eastern European countries. We also provide banquet and catering opportunities.
We as a family went through a unique experience which gives us a different prospective on how important it is for you to feel comfortable here. Our family originated from a small town named Rogatica about 40 miles east of Sarajevo. That is where we first got th experience of preparing different kids of unique dishes. In 1979 our journey of discovering the world began. We moved to take trips to countries like Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria, Hungry, Macadonia, Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Spain, France, Switzerland, Germany and mostly important Italy. We are often asked how it is that we know so much about Italian food. We have visited Italy over a hundred times. A city on the border of Slovania called Trieste was one of our favorite destinations. It is approximatley 5 hour drive from Sarajevo. Also, in 1984 we had the opportunity to be a part of the winter Olympic Games in Sarajevo.
Shortly after tragedy struck, and in 1992 the war broke out in Bosnia. Devastated by it and worried for the well being of the family, in 1994 we moved as refugees to Germany. There in Germany we got introduced to the art of preparing Italian cuisines. Most of the family members got work at an Italian restaurant starting as dishwashers and working our way up. After five years of building a new home in Germany we had to move again and in March 1999 the journey took us to the United States and the upstate New York. This resulted in us finding our new home in Utica. After working for different companies and saving the money, we had enough to open our restaurant in March of 2006. Since then we have been right here, serving you, our new family
